Olympic soccer star Hope Solo was supposed to get married Tuesday. She likely went through with the wedding, despite all the drama that took place the night before her wedding.

Hope had been dating former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens for the past two months. The two were engaged and made plans to wed this week.

According to reports, Monday night, they got involved in a dispute. Hope’s brother Marcus called the cops because of some disturbance. Stevens reportedly had a black eye and bloody knees while Solo sustained a huge scrap on her elbow; she did not divulge how she received her injuries.

Solo and her brother said that they were having a party that got out of hand and Marcus used a Taser gun on a guest.  While he was talking to the police, Solo kept telling him to shut up.

Authorities then found her fiancé Jerramy hiding in the bedroom. There were signs of struggle in the room and he had blood all over his shirt.

He admitted that he and Solo had an argument over where they would live after they were married. The police took him into custody on suspicion of assaulting Solo; he was later released from police custody the next day due to lack of evidence. Additional reports indicate that that they still made plans to go forth with the wedding but it is unclear if they did.

It appears as if Stevens does have a rap sheet which includes assault, sexual assault, DUI and extreme DUI where he had a BAC of 0.204, an amount that is twice over the legal limit. Also, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released him back in 2010 after he was arrested for marijuana possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. What are your thoughts on the proposed union between Stevens and Solo? Listen to related audio below and share your thoughts!
