Now that Lindsay Lohan has the possibility of jail looming over her head AGAIN, she’s changing her story on a lot of things.
She’s accused of lying to the cops about driving the day that she slammed her Porsche into the back of an 18-wheeler. Her assistant allegedly came out and said that she was driving and that’s what reopened the case and brought on the charges.
Well now Lindsay says that she would never lie to the cops. She says that she was confused and banged up after the car accident and she doesn’t remember what she said to the cops at the hospital. Her assistant is changing his story too. Gavin the assistant says that he never said that to the cops and they are just putting words in his mouth so they can push criminal charges on Lindsay. Gavin says that the cops pointed out that Lindsay had a seat belt burn on her left shoulder, indicating that she was driving, and Gavin said “Ok”. The cops took his response as a definite answer and used it to charge Lindsay.
And Lindsay has a new publicist since her last one quit. The first thing this publicist did was stop the Barbara Walters interview. Guess since the ‘Liz and Dick’ production crew already paid off Lindsay’s Chateau Marmont bill, they didn’t feel like she needed to do that tell-all interview anymore.
